Our four teams in front of the Adventure School this afternoon
14 Day Expedition Summer Camp 2015
Cape Wrath expeditions return to the Adventure School
and this years 14 day expedition summer camp draws to a close
Thursday July 30th 2015
All four teams have been out on the Cape Wrath expedition since Tuesday morning. Its a long way to the most north-westerly point of the Scottish mainland and their routes pass through some of the wildest terrain in the UK before heading south along the cliffs to Sandwood Bay.
Their return today, in time for lunch marks the end of this years 14 day camp. It has been a real pleasure to spend time with such a bubbly and fun bunch of young people, not afraid to push themselves and work hard at the expeditions. In return they have been rewarded with some beautiful days, stunning sunsets, had the mountains to themselves and had seas perfect for exploring this rugged coastline. Their enthusiasm has been total, they have taken all the challenges in their stride and formed some strong new friendships.
This evening we put together all the photos that the instructors have taken during the last two weeks for a slideshow and did some traditional Scottish ceilidh dancing. The two weeks have flown by and we wish all the young people well for the rest of the holidays and beyond.
We will post lots more photos on the Facebook page in the next few days.
