Travel information for young people 2012

We arrange a coach to pick you up at Inverness Airport for the two-hour journey to Ridgway Adventure at the beginning of your holiday, and the return journey at the end. Therefore we recommend specific flights from London Gatwick, which arrive at Inverness in good time for the coach.

There are also flights from London Luton, Manchester, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Southampton and Jersey, as well as from Dusseldorf and Amsterdam, but these may not be at convenient times to meet the coach. They may require an overnight stay in Inverness, or onward travel by taxi. Please note that we cannot necessarily arrange supervision for young people travelling unaccompanied on such flights.

Young people can fly unaccompanied from age 12 with Flybe and from age 14 with Easyjet. Please book early for availability and cheaper tickets. Passport or photo ID is essential for all flights. Please go through security early to avoid delays.

Coach

The coach will be at Inverness Airport to meet the recommended inward flight.

If you are travelling to Inverness by train or coach, or being dropped off by car, please arrive at Inverness Airport in time to meet the recommended flight.

At the end of your holiday, the return journey leaves Ridgway Adventure at 08:00 approx, arriving at Inverness Airport at 10:00.

Cost of return coach transport (Inverness Airport to Ridgway Adventure and back) is £40.
