Twyford Team arrive at the Adventure School
The children’s flight arrived into Inverness as scheduled today and we met them in arrivals ready for the journey up the east coast and then crossing on single track roads through the mountains to the wild west coast.

Sunny but really windy from the south-west today but there is just enough shelter from that direction at the Adventure School to be able to head straight out for a swim. And thats exactly what we did. Bags to rooms and unpacked just enough to find towels and swimming kit, wetsuits on and straight into the sea.
After swimming a homemade cookie and some kit faff, preparing a day pack that the boys and girls will carry on our forays out from the Adventure School.
Macaroni cheese, salads and chocolate cake for supper this evening, then out onto the high ground above the Adventure School to get a 360 degree view of all the places we will explore together over the next week.
The team will be up at 7am tomorrow for a run or a swim before a day of sea kayaking and survival skills.
Another really enthusiastic and polite team from Twyford… we should achieve a lot together this week.
More news will follow across the week.
