Survivors return from the island
We picked the teams up from Survival Island by boat shortly after 7am this morning after a cracking night. Cooler than the past few weeks but a good breeze and dry overnight which always helps the teams out there. They did really well, shelters built quickly and fires lit around the shoreline to cook on. Particularly good considering that they have had a days less preparation than most but our usual survival night (Wednesday night/tonight) looks like heavy rain and we have managed to dodge that!

Plenty of sleepy heads in the boats this morning as we made the short journey back along Loch A Chadh-Fi. Porridge was in high demand this morning and the cooked breakfast of sausage, beans and eggy bread didn’t last long on the plates.
It is a bit grey overhead for beach day today but that shouldn’t stop the fun. All are well. More news tomorrow.
