All survived Survival

With a brisk south westerly breeze and bright skies, the team were landbased.

Successfully finding orienteering posts for Search to Survive and building on their teamwork and communication skills through several fun initiative tests.

Then…..the weeks ultimate test, Survival night. Shelters were built away from the freshening wind, using sails and hazel spars, giving the feel of a real life shipwreck. Supper cooked over open fires. All the new skills learnt over the week put into practice. Both teams Survived the night admirably and have enjoyed a hearty Survivors breakfast.

They head for the beach this afternoon.
