Sea kayaking, rock climbing, creels and more

Busy days at the adventure school with the QEH teams. The Greens rock climbed and abseiled on Monday while the Reds and Blues learnt the ‘fire and food’ skills needed for the island on Thursday. In the evening Mark and Rebecca took the Blues to lift lobster creels and see the 1966 Atlantic rowing boat.

Charlotte’s Blue team setting their wild camp tonight

On Tuesday all three teams went sea kayaking with Mark and their team instructors. The Reds and Blues looked at the shelter-building skills for the island and the Greens went to sea to lift lobster pots with Rebecca.

Tonight all three teams are wild camping at the foot of Arkle ready for ascents of Ben Stack and Arkle on Wednesday.

The boys are all well and in good form. More news to follow on our return from the mountains on Wednesday evening.
