Balham team arrive in the far north-west

The team arrived in excellent order this afternoon, after a straight forward journey. Everyone is well and there is a high level of excitement. With tide and time waiting for no man, high spring tides happen to coincide with the teams walk from the road to the Adventure School, so they crossed the hills as the best route in the late afternoon sunshine.

After being shown around, we sat down to delicious macaroni cheese and salad before 73 voices sang Happy Birthday to Miss Craigie and enjoyed her chocolate birthday cake!

Supper was followed by a walk up to the highest point above the adventure school, to see the whole area where adventures will take place, especially Survival Island.

Early bed in preparation for a busy day of fun tomorrow.
