Dumpton Year 8 arrive at the adventure school

The Dumpton team are here! The girls and boys arrived at 5 pm this afternoon after a bit of a delay at Bristol airport. When the coach pulled up at the road-end we loaded bags into our pickup truck and trailer and split into three teams. The Reds, Blues and Greens. The teams then walked along the path to the adventure school with their instructors, Mark, Charlotte and Zeki.

We had a quick tour so the boys and girls know where everything is and then it was bags to rooms and a quick change ready for a swim before dinner. We have an action-packed week ahead and will post more photos here a couple more times as the adventures unfold.

Great levels of enthusiasm from all after a long journey. Tomorrow looks like a day of sea kayaking and sea fishing from our workboats, with a stop at Ardmore to see John Ridgway’s 1966 Atlantic rowing boat.
