Highfield’s first day

A most excited Highfield team had an excellent first day

Fair weather with teams out on the loch sea kayaking, rock climbing and abseiling, learning the vital survival skills of how to light a fire and how to cook and eat limpets and winkles from the seashore in preparation for their night on the island later in the week. 

A sunny evening with a gentle breeze, saw them have supper at the Adventure School before going out to camp for the night at the base of Arkle, which they will climb on Monday. Weather looks set fair for the week.
