Kings Langley team arrive in time for a swim in the sunshine

The hot and sunny weather continues at Ardmore and with a 2.30pm arrival it seemed only fitting that the first thing to do was to go for a swim. Despite the warm weather the sea is pretty cold and wetsuits are still the order of the day! Swimming out to the raft in the middle of the loch and jumping from it is always good sport.

After shower and homemade biscuits the two teams (Reds and Blues) headed to a high point above the Adventure School to get a 360 degree view of all the places we’ll explore together over the week.

After supper there was some kit faff, prepping camping kit for tomorrow evening and checking boots and waterproofs (not that the forecast suggests we’ll be needing the latter!).

Tomorrow we will be sea kayaking and learning the fire and food elements of the survival skills needed for the island at the end of the week. We’ll be camping at the foot of the mountain tomorrow evening before our climb on Monday. More news from the Kings Langley team will follow over the coming days.
