Monday rock climbing and survival skills

The boys and girls are wild camping at the foot of Arkle tonight in preparation for climbing the eastern summit tomorrow. We have spent Monday rock climbing and abseiling above the adventure school and looking at the ‘fire and food’ elements of the survival skills that they will need for the island.

The four teams will set out from the camp after breakfast tomorrow and we’d hope to be on the summit by midday.
