Successful summiteers return from the mountains

It is 6 am on Wednesday, and the boys and girls are still fast asleep at the adventure school. We have had two busy days with survival skills during the day on Monday before heading to a windy wild camp at the foot of Arkle on Monday evening, and then an incredible day in the mountains yesterday.

There’s so much more to say and plenty of photos to post here in this journal entry later today, but in short, the kids have been great, working hard together in conditions that have been pretty challenging at times. Spirits have been incredible, and the willingness and determination to reach the summit of Arkle yesterday when we had spent much of the day in cloud and drizzle is just fabulous.
