Team arrive to blue skies and sunshine
Swimming high on the agenda
The team arrived with us at about 1.30pm this afternoon to blue skies and sunshine, but with a cooler northerly breeze than the south easterlies that we have had for the past few days.
A short walk in from the coach across the hillside and shore to the Adventure School for lunch. After leek and potato soup, homemade bread, cheese and salad, the team started about their kit ‘faff’, unpacking and then repacking for a day pack that they will use for the different adventures. After that it was straight into the loch for a swim. A balmy 8 or so degrees, bracing even with wetsuits on!

After hot showers we looked at the tents that the pupils will use for camping tomorrow night before our mountain day on Monday. And after supper, we all walked to a high point above the Adventure School to get a better sense of the surroundings and set the scene for the week.
Tomorrow will be a day of sea kayaking and rock climbing before we head out to camp for the night.
We will update the news page again on our return from the mountain on Monday (probably late evening for the update).
