Team Kings Langley

The team arrive to snow-capped mountains

The last few days have given the summits a dusting of snow, widely known as lambing snows, accompanying the arrival of the first lambs at Ardmore and neighbouring crofts.

The Kings Langley team arrived just after 2 pm with a short walk in to reach the Adventure School. Tea and shortbread followed. We went through the pupils kit, checking that it is all up to the adventures of the next week, and then took off to a high point above the School to get a view of all the places we will explore and a first glimpse of survival island!

Sea kayaking tomorrow, and fire and food, where we will forage for and cook wild foods from the shore on open fires.
