Team climb Arkle after wild camp last night
We left the Adventure School yesterday afternoon after some sea kayaking and survival skills during the day. The plan was to pitch tents at the foot of Arkle, cook supper on trangia stoves and then get a fire going in the fireplace of the old stone stables at Lone, and use that as a basecamp for our mountain day.

Arkle has two summits linked by a crescent shaped ridge that narrows as it curves around to the second summit. The boys covered the ground quickly today making both summits in good time, with great views from the top.
Rock climbing, abseiling, lobster creeling and sea fishing tomorrow. More news later in the week.
