Rock climbing and raft racing under the warm summer sun
We had swimmers, runners and volleyballers all out before breakfast this morning. Mr Nightingale joined the swim team, a handful of whom have taken every possible opportunity to bathe in the loch so far this week. Well done swim team!! The runners made it along the track to an old tractor that sits at the end of the road, at a variety of speeds.
After breakfast the teams went head to head, with the ‘Red Skies’ and ‘Bluetooths’ competing at the climbing crag and the ‘Red Faces’ and ‘Blue Moons’ doing battle on the sea loch in the raft build and race. Needless to say the teachers got thoroughly stuck in with the latter, helping their teams and adding a little piracy on the high seas!

After a packed lunch out in the sunshine the teams swapped to climb or raft race for themselves.
Each victory earns the team three limpets for the ‘Ardmore 2012 Olimpets’ challenge. The Blues opened a gap between themselves and the Reds in our evening tug’o’war on the grass beside the sheiling (a ruined shepherds hut) on the shore opposite the Adventure School.
Its been a beautiful warm and sunny day, the team refreshed after their mountain exertions and in great spirit.
