Reds sea kayaking expedition underway

Perfect weather and a perfect forecast for the Red team on their two-day sea kayaking expedition. We have been able to get out onto the often wild open Atlantic coast, around Ardmore Point and up the west coast towards Loch Dughaill and Loch An Roin which offers some of the best, and remotest paddling in the UK. 

The team will camp tonight a headland close to Ardmore Point with an Atlantic horizon on one side and views back across to the mountains that we climbed earlier in the course. It should be a stunning night for them out there.

Meanwhile the Blue teams are at the Adventure School learning more skills around the seashore and in the hills above. Sea fishing was a success this evening with a small catch of mackerel, the first of the season.
