Team 6 Day Summer Camp

Sea kayaking, rock climbing and survival island

Beautiful calm and blue skies as the teams head for the island

A really busy day today at the Adventure School. All four teams have rock climbed and abseiled on the rocky outcrops high on the hillside above the Adventure School and two of the four teams have sea kayaked, with the other two heading out in boats to pull up their lobster creels and see John Ridgway’s 1966 Atlantic rowing boat.

The forecast for this evening has looked good for a couple of days and with heavy overnight rain forecast for Wednesday night, we have moved the island night forwards. The result is that the teams left for the island this afternoon in beautiful weather, with a good breeze and sunshine, full of spirit and excitement for the experience ahead.

All the group are well and we have put plenty of photos of the week so far up on our Facebook page to which there is a link at the bottom of the page.
