Survival Island and the beach

It has been a busy couple of days for the team. Everyone rock climbed and sea kayaked yesterday, circumnavigating the island. It won’t be long now until we see the first herring gull chicks hatching and the kayaks are a great way to get closer to wildlife than you ever could on foot.

After tea we left for the island. Its not alway easy to work together in a team of over 30 but the pupils did themselves and their school proud. A strong effort with great spirit. The team returned this morning for breakfast and showers before heading out to the beach.

We’ll be lifting the creels tomorrow morning before the team head off.
