The team are here!
It has been a beautiful day here in the far north-west. The team from Kingshott have arrived safe and sound and just in time for supper.
This evening we went for a walk to the anvil stone on Cnocc Corr, 20 minutes from the Adventure School. The anvil stone rolled off the back of glacier over 12,000 years ago, and no doubt will be here for some time yet!

From here the team have an amazing view of all the places that we will explore this week. About 10 of the red team seem keen for a morning swim in the sea loch before breakfast and others will go for a run or play volleyball.
Rock climbing and sea kayaking are on the agenda tomorrow for respective teams, as well as learning to build survival shelters with old yacht sails and hazel spars and preparing lobster pots. We will be wild camping in tents tomorrow night close to the bothy (an old stone house) ready to climb Ben Stack on Tuesday.
All are well, excited and enthusiastic, the makings of a great week.
