The first full day of fun

After their dip in the sea loch on arrival, the team enjoyed supper of macaroni cheese, salad and chocolate cake. Then walked up to the top of a high hill above the adventure school to see where all their activities will take place and out to Survival Island.

We have had so much rain over the last three weeks that even the sea is peaty brown, but there does not look to be a drop in the forecast now.

Today before breakfast everyone had a run and then split into their Red and Blue teams for half a day of sea kayaking and half a day of survival skills, learning how to build shelters, start a fire with a striking flint to cook wild food from the sea shore, swapping at lunch time. 

With warm sunshine this afternoon, everyone is well and cheerful, having lots of fun with their friends.
