Twyford team arrive in the far north-west

Swims, kit faff and an evening walk

The Twyford team arrived at about three o’clock this afternoon and after finding dorms and retrieving their bags from the 4×4 and trailer that brings the kit in along the shore, we split into our four teams (Red Deer, Red Snappers, Blue Moons and Blue Whales).

The Reds went straight into the sea for a swim and the Blues went through the kit that they will need for the week, before the teams swapped around.

After supper of macaroni cheese, salads and chocolate cake, the teams headed off up to a high point above the Adventure School where they can get a 360 degree view of all the places we’ll explore together over the week and a first glimpse of survival island!

The team have settled in well, have hearty appetites and great enthusiasm for what is to come. More news will follow on this page over the week and we’ll post some photos on our Facebook page too.
