Beautiful blue skies for a full-on day of adventure

Some of the Blue boys out at the wild camp this evening

Over 20 swimmers from the Blue teams were out at 7 am this morning to break the glassy waters of an extra calm Loch A Chadh-Fi. Beautiful blue skies and stunning views across the mountains for those swimming in the sea loch. Meanwhile, the Reds and the rest of the Blues went for a run along the track.

We had teams up at the climbing crag this morning and afternoon with ‘Blue Sky Thinkers’ competing against ‘Red Faces’ and ‘Blue Curacaos’ against ‘Red or Dead’.

‘Red Inks’ and ‘Blues Singers’ both went sea kayaking today on the mirror calm waters of Loch A Chadh-Fi and all teams have at some point today done one part of their survival skills training.

Credit to Mr Gerry for coming up with six more original Red/Blue team names for the ninth year in a row.

Tonight, the three Blue teams have gone out to their wild camp at the foot of Ben Stack ready for their mountain day and the Reds are at the Adventure School preparing for another action packed day on the sea and the shore tomorrow.

Its been a beautiful day today, calm with plenty of blue skies and warm sunshine and more of the same is on the forecast for tomorrow. The pupils are on great form and relishing the challenges put in front of them. Eat, sleep, swim, repeat.
